What is maximus from tangled?

Maximus is a horse from the animated movie Tangled. He is a palace horse and is always on patrol for intruders. He is very loyal to the royal family and especially to his rider, Captain of the Guard, Flynn Rider. Despite being a horse, Maximus has very human-like qualities such as displaying emotions, communicating with other characters, and even engaging in a sword fight.
